Denny Freudeman

President & CEO

Denny Freudeman has a unique and comprehensive background in the healthcare industry. He received his degree in Business/Accounting from Capital University and became a Certified Public Accountant spending several years at Ernst & Young. He established Prime Medical Group in 1987, a real estate consulting company and sold it to OhioHealth Healthcare systems in 1995.

Denny became Sr. Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for OhioHealth and during his six-year tenure, held positions of Sr. Vice President of Marketing and Development, Strategic Planning, Communication, and was the CEO and President of one of OhioHealth's hospital organizations, Doctors Hospital.

As Senior Vice President of Finance/Development/Strategic Planning, Denny led OhioHealth through their entire ambulatory development plan. As Chief Financial Officer, he structured all four of the major ambulatory facilities in Franklin County as well as the secondary "hub" locations with primary care and clinical services. Not only was he involved in the strategic decision of size and location, but also in the financial strategy and ultimate capitalization.

Denny formed Hplex Solutions, a specialized healthcare consulting firm in March 2002 and this organization works with various hospitals, health systems and physicians in the area of asset management, development, owner representative services, property management, master planning, strategic development planning, and physician partnering. Denny has worked extensively to create innovative and unique forms of ownership, off balance sheet financing, third party ownership and joint ventures. Denny's understanding of the healthcare industry, its regulations and constraints has helped tremendously in developing successful business models for various hospitals. Denny serves on various community Boards including Capital University, Columbus, Ohio, where he is the Chairman of the Board of Trustees.

Jeff Bellinski

Executive Vice President

Jeff Bellinski brings to the table more than 30 years of experience in the construction and real estate industry. During his career, he has worked on projects ranging from $25,000 to over $100 million, totaling more than $1 billion in construction oversight and healthcare projects.

During his career, Jeff has held the positions of Project Superintendent, Project Estimator, Project Engineer, Project Manager, and Project Executive.

Jeff joined Prime Medical in 1988 and had the oversight responsibility for all construction activities including general contracting and owner representation until joining Hplex Solutions in April, 2003.

Jeff understands the challenges in the programming, design, and construction issues surrounding today's healthcare arena, and has extensive experience working with hospital user groups as well as individual physician groups.

Jeff is a graduate of Capital University in Columbus and has also attended various technical programs and continuing education courses related to the construction industry.

Dana Freudeman

Senior Vice President Business Development

Dana brings 22 years of healthcare development, property management, leasing and real estate brokerage to Hplex. He most recently served as Chief Operating Officer for Prime Medical Group, a wholly owned affiliate of OhioHealth Corp., Columbus, Ohio, for 11 ½ years during which he was responsible for the leasing and management of over 1 million square feet of medical office space and ambulatory health centers throughout OhioHealth's Central Ohio coverage area.

In addition he was responsible for the acquisition and disposition of buildings and/or land held or acquired by the system to meet strategic objectives. During his tenure, OhioHealth enjoyed high occupancy rates and physician retention through a formal property management program administered in Central Ohio by over 18 full time associates.

A Political Science major at Kent State University, Dana holds a State of Ohio real estate sales license and has been licensed as a Broker since 1995.

Dana provides Hplex Solutions and its clients a wealth of experience in managing healthcare real estate portfolios and enhancing physician relationships through meaningful application of asset management strategies and joint venture opportunities.

Aaron Greene

Sr. Vice President - Managing Director of Construction Services

Aaron Greene brings more than 10 years of healthcare construction experience to Hplex Solutions. Since joining Hplex Solutions in 2004, he has participated in the oversight of more than $500 million in healthcare construction projects, ranging from $4 million to $24 million each.

As Vice President for Hplex Solutions, Aaron directs large-scale projects ensuring cohesive, timely, and budget-driven results on behalf of clients. He is an instrumental member of the senior management team, setting the standard for excellence and consistent delivery of Class A healthcare development.

Aaron’s breadth of experience in the field of healthcare construction and meticulous attention to detail provide clients with a cohesive, cost-efficient experience as they undertake major construction projects.

Aaron is a graduate of DeVry University in Columbus, Ohio

Kara Solarz

Sr. Vice President - Managing Director of Real Estate Services

Kara Solarz joined Hplex Solutions in 2010 as a property manager, but quickly established herself as an integral part of the senior leadership team. She led an initiative to modernize and improve upon the company’s property management system, enhancing value and efficiency for both clients and Hplex.

As Vice President of Real Estate and Property Management, she now directs a team of property managers responsible for several facilities across the country, totaling roughly 3 million square feet. Her clients appreciate her emphasis on outstanding service and attention to detail.

In her role, she has facilitated the opening of new medical buildings, working closely with staff to ensure a smooth transition, and has overseen numerous remodels of existing spaces.

Kara holds a real estate license in the state of Ohio. She is a University of Dayton alumna with a master's degree from Ashland University. She is also a member of BOMA and volunteers in her community.

Joe "Cash" Solarz

Chief Financial Officer

Cash Solarz serves as Chief Financial Officer for Hplex Solutions, brings a strong background in financial reporting.   During his time with Hplex Solutions, Cash has played a key role in all Project Accounting including preparation and tracking of the Project draws.  Cash’s background and experience allow him to oversee the daily operations of Hplex Solutions, as well as the company finances.  To date, Cash has managed over $150M+ of Project funds with Hplex Solutions.

Prior to joining Hplex Solutions, Cash worked as a Business Manager with the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at The Ohio State University where he oversaw $400M of Government Sponsored Research in a department with 50+ Faculty members.  As Business Manager, Cash oversaw the preparation of the department’s budget, as well as budget for each of the 250 Sponsored Projects.  Cash also worked as an accountant at a CPA firm in Columbus, Ohio where he audited and prepared tax returns for several Construction contractors in the central Ohio area.

Cash received his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Information Systems from The Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business.  Cash has attended various continuing education courses related to International Accounting Standards with a focus on Construction Contracts.

John Durda

Project Manager

John Durda joined Hplex Solutions in 2017 after working as a designer and project manager in the architecture and planning industry with a focus on healthcare.

John’s experience with healthcare planning, design, and construction spans all phases of a project – from facility assessment, master planning, and conceptual development and on through the design, document production, and construction administration process. His experience also spans a multitude of project sizes and types, from tenant fit outs, renovations, and new facility construction, to campus and system-wide planning strategies.

John’s years in the architecture field have cultivated a strong collaborative outlook and a constructive problem-solving attitude that he brings to all his work. These attributes, along with his attention to detail and dedication, promote high quality projects delivered efficiently and economically.

John earned both his Bachelor of Science in Architecture and Master of Architecture degrees from The Ohio State University’s Knowlton School of Architecture.

Everett D. Jones

Vice President

Everett Jones has been involved with Hplex since its inception. As a registered architect, with over 40 years of design and construction management experience, Everett brings an expertise that is unparalleled in the oversight of large, complex projects.

Everett begins his career as a Senior Project Architect for NBBJ, an international architect firm. He then spent 15 years with Turner Construction Company, as Senior Project Executive in Columbus and Cleveland. Everett opened and ran the Turner Construction Company, Toronto operation. After Turner Construction, Everett moved to URS Corporation, where he was the Senior Vice President over the Cleveland and Atlanta offices, overseeing 120 professionals.

Over the course of his career, Everett has participated in the design, construction and/or oversight of projects totaling over $2 billion dollars. Over $500 million of that experience has come while working on large healthcare projects with clients such as The Cleveland Clinic and Baptist Health Care in Pensacola, Florida.

Everett joined Hplex Solutions in 2002 as a Vice President of Owner Representative Services and Development. His in-depth knowledge of the entire design and construction process and personal management experience with large CM and architectural firms is invaluable in the management and leadership of a project team.

Vince Lantz

Vice President Project Management

Vincent Lantz, Director of Project Management, joined Hplex Solutions in 2015, bringing with him a strong background in architecture and construction, with an emphasis on healthcare development.

Skilled in all phases of a project – conception, planning and development - Vince is instrumental in establishing strong collaboration amongst team members, ensuring projects are done with integrity, quality, cost efficiency and speed-to-market.

His years of architectural experience within the industry allow him to preemptively identify challenges and in turn, create viable solutions, saving valuable time and dollars for the client.

Vince holds dual degrees in architecture and construction management from The Ohio State University, where he also completed his Master of Architecture. Before joining Hplex Solutions, Vince was a designer with Trinity Health Group.

A few of Vince’s standout projects include Doctor’s Hospital Emergency Department addition, Mount Carmel New Albany Operating Room expansion, Visualization of Grant Hospital Master Plan, and Frederick Memorial Hospital Master Facilities Plan, which included Emergency Department, Imaging, New Lobby, Outpatient, and an Endocrinology/Dialysis Department.

Susan Mansfield

Senior Property Manager

Susan is Senior Property Manager for Hplex Solutions, managing nearly half a million square feet of prime medical office space. She is an Accredited Commercial Manager with the Institute of Real Estate Management and current CPM candidate. Susan oversees our top-notch maintenance technician team as well as third party technicians in the Cleveland and Toledo area markets. Susan works closely with our Construction and Development teams to successfully transition from Certificate of Occupancy to Property Management. Since joining the team she has focused on strengthening tenant and vendor relations while streamlining processes for peak efficiency.

Susan brings nearly 20 years of real estate experience including six years of retail lease administration and property management in Manhattan, Long Island and Albany, New York as well as Camden, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Virginia Beach and Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Susan has been a licensed Ohio real estate agent since 1997, resides in Worthington Ohio and volunteers for the local IREM chapter 42.
